Dublin, CA · Tri-Valley · Operator-owned fleet

Dublin charter bus rental from the company that answers the phone.

Dublin is one of the closest Tri-Valley cities to us, about 25 minutes up I-580 from the Hayward yard, with a second yard in South San Francisco. No marketplace, no subcontractor, no 20–40% broker margin between you and the operator. Short deadhead is a real line item here, and it shows up as a smaller number on your quote than it would from further out.

The runs our drivers already know

Distances are road miles from the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. Times are typical off-peak, before the I-580 and I-680 interchange loads. These are runs we stage in Dublin through the year.

Why it matters who owns the bus

Direct operator vs. national booking marketplace

Most sites ranking for "charter bus Dublin" do not own a single vehicle. They resell operators like us and add a margin. Here is what changes when you skip that layer.

What Dublin charters typically cost

Ranges are published so you can budget before you call. Your quote is itemized to the hour and the mile, and Dublin's short deadhead from Hayward is one of the reasons the number lands where it does.

Minibus, 24–35 passengers$150–$175/hr

Driver included. Five-hour minimum, so a half day runs $750–$875. BART loops, winery transfers, wedding runs and campus trips.

Motorcoach, 56 passengers$190–$245/hr

Driver included. Quoted per itinerary on top of the hourly rate because deadhead, tolls and return time change the total.

Recurring shuttle programContract rate

Fixed daily or weekly routes for Dublin employers and schools. Monthly invoicing, PO-based billing and net terms.

Always included: driver, fuel, standard insurance, live tracking. Quoted separately: tolls, parking, driver overnight on multi-day trips, gratuity if you choose to add it.

Dublin FAQ

Answers from the people who dispatch the buses

How much does a charter bus cost in Dublin?

A half-day (5-hour) 24-35 passenger minibus in Dublin typically runs $750–$875 including driver. A 56-passenger motorcoach is quoted per itinerary. Dublin is only about 25 minutes from our Hayward yard, so the deadhead line on a Dublin quote is one of the smallest in the Tri-Valley.

Can you pick up at the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station?

Yes. The station has a bus loading zone that takes a full-size vehicle, and it is the meeting point we use most for Tri-Valley groups. Riders who do not want to drive to a winery or a game can BART out and board there.

Do you run wine tours from Dublin to Livermore Valley?

Constantly. It is fifteen to twenty-five minutes east on I-580 to the Tesla Road and Vasco Road tasting rooms, so a Dublin group gets a real afternoon out there instead of a drive with a tasting attached. The driver stays with the party between stops.

Do you shuttle for the Dublin St. Patrick's Day Festival?

Yes, and remote-lot shuttles are the only thing that works on that weekend. We usually put a 69-passenger double-decker on the loop so each lap clears more of the queue and fewer vehicles are circling the Civic Center area.

Are you a broker or the actual bus company?

The bus company. Umbrella Global Bus owns the coaches and minibuses, employs the drivers and runs its own dispatch and shop from Hayward and South San Francisco under CPUC TCP 0037963 and USDOT 3126263. There is no reseller in the middle taking a cut.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?

Yes. All three 69-passenger double-deckers have a wheelchair lift and a restroom, one 56-passenger coach is lift-equipped and so is one minibus. Tell dispatch the number of wheelchair positions when you book and we assign accordingly.
